Journey is a work of moods. As you work your way through the piece, you will hear contrasting colours, changing keys and expressive markings, which will help create the overall atmosphere of the performance.
Always work hard at adhering to the marked dynamics and expression markings as an ensemble. Learn to look at each other and communicate across the group.
The modulation to G Major at F can be taken a little quicker but should always sound brighter. It is important to always maintain momentum in this work.
The melodic idea is shared around the trio and should always be clearly heard and dynamics in the accompanying parts should be adjusted accordingly.
