Reminiscence for Piano Trio
Reminiscence for Piano Trio is a simple work which allows each player in the ensemble to demonstrate their understanding of ensemble skills in learning to listen to one another and to blend as a small ensemble.
While there are some musical challenges within the work, it is the melodic ideas which always need space and realization.
The articulation and dynamics should always be thoughtfully applied and adhered to during the performance and the legato style should always be maintained.
The modulation to B major at Bar 25 could be played a little quicker but this is at the discretion of the performers along with the dynamics for that section.
This work was and will remain dedicated to the students in our original Senior Piano Trio at Newcastle Grammar School during 2014, Georgia, Caitlan and Sophie.
